Merchant Agreement
Standard terms and conditions for businesses and merchants selling on AddQart
This Merchant Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between PowerWeb Technologies LLC (“AddQart”, “We”) and the business entity or individual (“Merchant”, “You”) registering an online store on the AddQart commerce platform.
Overview
AddQart provides a unified cloud commerce software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, enabling merchants to build online stores, native mobile apps, manage inventory, process payments, and connect with global shipping carriers.
Merchant Responsibilities
As an active merchant on AddQart, you agree to:
- Maintain valid commercial registration and business licenses required in your jurisdiction of operation (e.g., Qatar CR, Saudi Commercial Registration, UAE Trade License).
- Ensure all product listings, descriptions, prices, and stock quantities displayed on your storefront are accurate and up-to-date.
- Fulfill customer orders within promised delivery timeframes and provide tracking details.
- Publish clear Customer Support contact details, Privacy Policy, and Return/Refund terms on your store.
0% Transaction Fee Policy
AddQart charges 0% transaction fees on sales revenue across all subscription plans. Unlike competing platforms, AddQart does not levy percentage commissions or sales penalties on your order volume. Third-party payment gateway processing fees (e.g., Stripe, MADA, KNET, NAPS, MyFatoorah, Fawry) charged directly by financial institutions remain separate and subject to your agreements with those providers.
Payment Gateways & Payouts
AddQart integrates natively with leading regional and international payment gateways:
- Payouts are disbursed directly to your designated business bank account by the connected gateway according to their settlement schedules.
- Merchants are responsible for tax compliance, VAT collection, and electronic invoicing regulations (such as Saudi ZATCA e-invoicing).
Prohibited Products & Content
Merchants are strictly prohibited from selling or hosting:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, prescription medicines, or controlled substances.
- Counterfeit items, trademark-infringing goods, or pirated software.
- Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials.
- Content that violates local laws, promotes hate speech, or infringes intellectual property.
Data Privacy & Security
Merchants must handle end-customer personal data in strict compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Qatar Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL), Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), EU GDPR, and global standards. Merchant customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Termination & Offboarding
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- Merchants can export all store product catalogs, customer data, and order records prior to account closure.
- AddQart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in fraudulent activity, illegal product sales, or severe policy violations.
Governing Law & Contact
This Merchant Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. For legal inquiries or support:
